Oh what to wear?
I often get asked what I like my clients to wear during your newborn, family or maternity session and I have a few suggestions that I personally feel will enhance the look and results of your session.

I can tell you what to wear and what will look perfect for your photography session. But if it is not you, your style and what you feel comfortable in it just wont work! At the end of the day, these are your photos that will capture how you are so you can take or leave my suggestions. The choice is up to you!
I want you to feel comfortable. I want you to be able to move and feel free and not restricted.
Especially during a newborn session please consider access for feeding, if you have had a c-section or have stitches.

Texture is a huge part of a wardrobe. Layering different types of fabrics and finishes can add so much depth and warmth to your images. Think chunky knits, lace and linen.
Consider how a dress will move and swish, statement sleeves and how accessories such as a hat or beanie will complete an outfit.
I personally love natural tones. White, beige, browns, deep blues and greens. You don't all have to be matching but I find sticking to this colour pallet will help your outfits be co-ordinated and flow.
I have put together some wardrobe ideas and colour pallets for you to use as inspiration for your outdoor family session.
muted tones | natural textures | flowy dresses

chunky knits | layers | hats and beanies

I have a limited wardrobe available for clients to use with a few different sizes for kids and ladies. You will need to book in the pieces prior to your session so I can ensure they are clean and bring them with me to your session.
